By Air:
Indian Airlines operate biweekly flights between Mumbai and Prasanthi Nilayam on Wednesdays and Sundays when Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba is at Prasanthi Nilayam. A Coach is available to and from the Sri Sathya Sai Airport, which is 6 km away from the Ashram.
By Road:
There are buses from Bangalore and Chennai but the ride is bumpy. Cars are better for long distance journeys.
By Rail:
The nearest station is at Dharmavaram, well connected to Puttaparthi by bus. There are trains to Dharmavaram from Bangalore and Hyderabad. |
